"Previously I'd been feeding only frozen raw and rotated Vital Essentials with a couple of other brands. I didn't think my cats would like the dehydrated as much as the frozen. Plus I always put a lot of water in their food since they drink almost no water. I was concerned about that much dry food-- so I put the patties in a container with plenty of water in the fridge. That way, they get the water and have a convenient high-quality raw meal. I got both chicken and turkey freeze dried dinner patties. The only drawback it that they love it so much I can't keep it in the cupboard as they will open up any door or go through any barriers to get it-- I discovered that the hard way! So I have to keep it in a bag in the fridge just to make it cat-proofed between meals. They love it and I'm delighted!!!!"
